Pat McAfee wants his voice to be heard by the WWE Universe.

The former NFL star addressed his shock return to the Stamford promotion after relinquishing his commentary duties last year.

On Friday, he surprisingly aligned with Randy Orton, who has been feuding with the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes for several weeks.

After entering the ring, he kicked Rhodes in the groin and cut a scathing promo by touching upon the company’s recent struggles, including its inability to sell out WrestleMania 42 tickets.

He also claimed that The Viper chose to walk the path of destruction as a way to save the wrestling business.

The following day, Pat McAfee shared a video of himself while taunting wrestling fans and asking them if they had thanked Randy Orton yet. He also took a dig at Cody Rhodes for the rough day that he experienced.

Pat McAfee Makes Bold Claim About His WWE Future

Not every wrestling fan around the world was pleased with Pat McAfee being revealed as Randy Orton’s ally, as they claimed he had no connection with Orton or Cody Rhodes.

Elsewhere, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry sounded enthusiastic about the storyline’s progression with McAfee’s involvement.

Reports have also hinted at a rift between WWE’s creative team and the TKO Group due to Ari Emanuel using his influence in the company to add McAfee to the Orton-Rhodes story.

Meanwhile, the sports analyst has continued to back Orton as the next Undisputed WWE Champion even putting his WWE future on the line with his latest claim on Twitter.

The only “shock” is that @RandyOrton, the greatest Sports Entertainer of all time, isn’t running @WWE

That all changes at Mania… When he becomes 15 TIME WORLD CHAMPION AND SAVES THE BUSINESS for future generations while doing so

And if he doesn’t… I’ll NEVER BE SEEN OR HEARD IN THE WRESTLING WORLD AGAIN
