Oh No! Serious Setback For Jon Moxley And Death Riders In AEW
Jon Moxley and the Death Riders haven’t been having a great time on AEW Dynamite for the last two weeks. The entire group was humiliated by Shane Taylor Promotions last week before suffering another setback tonight.
Moxley put his AEW Continental Championship on the line against Shane Taylor last week, and despite winning the match, he didn’t have a great time on the show as he suffered a brutal post-match attack.
As the rest of the Death Riders tried to help him, they were taken out by other members of STP. Tonight, Moxley and Daniel Garcia looked to put that behind them and faced Brodido in tag team action.
Former AEW World Tag Team Champions emerge victorious
Both teams wrestled a brutal clash tonight that saw both of them exchange massive blows with each other. The match involved a good mix of hard-hitting and high-flying action, given the competitors involved.
Marina Shafir, who was in the Death Riders’ corner, stopped Brody King from taking Mox and Garcia out with a suicide dive and got in King’s face, allowing Mox to hit him with a Spike Piledriver on the outside.
However, Bandido turned things around for his side, and when Shafir tried to interrupt once again, he took her out with a massive suplex. The former AEW World Tag Team Champions ultimately picked up the win after Bandido hit the 21-plex on Garcia while King took Moxley out with a suicide dive. This loss also proved to be the first one Moxley and Garcia suffered as a tag team.
