Nikki Bella Pitching For Major Change In WWE: “We’ll See What Will Happen”
The former Divas Champion, Nikki Bella revealed she has been pitching for a big change in the WWE amid current run with the company.
Nikki Bella made her blockbuster WWE return during the 2025 women’s Royal Rumble match. A few months later, Nikki competed in the 20-woman battle royal at the Evolution PLE as well. She challenged Becky Lynch at Clash in Paris last year in a losing cause. During her feud with Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World title, Nikki Bella also turned heel but failed to capture the title at Survivor Series last year.
However, after reuniting with her sister Brie Bella earlier this year, Nikki Bella is back to being a babyface. Nikki is currently out of action due to injury, as she was replaced by a returning Paige at WrestleMania 42 before she was slated to compete in the Women’s tag title match alongside Brie. Meanwhile, Nikki made a huge revelation regarding a potential heel run.
Nikki Bella is pitching for a heel turn in the WWE
Speaking on The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki Bella confessed that she would love to end her current run as a heel as she misses her old days as a heel:
Look, I’d love to be heel Nikki. I thrive being heel Nikki. I don’t write creative. Heel Nikki is the best. I pitch for it, hopefully that is what I can be. Hopefully that is what I end with. I miss the days of Team Bella just doing crazy stuff. During milkshakes on Brie’s head, spray painting Paige, just doing all that kind of stuff, I loved that kind of heel work. Cutting ruthless promos, where my opponent and I knew we could get a little personal and no feelings were hurt.”
Nikki further disclosed that she pitches hard for a potential heel run because she thrives in that role:
We’ll see. I pitch hard for that, we’ll see what will happen because I just thrive in that. I love that. For a babyface to go against me it’s very easy to come after me. There’s so much promo work you can do on me and get a reaction and be a superhero for it. So, I think it works. I think it works the best.” [h/t WrestleTalk]
It remains to be seen if Nikki Bella will turn heel months after her feud with Stephanie Vaquer last year, where she was a heel for a short time.
