More WWE Stars Headed To Money In The Bank
Money In The Bank is on the horizon and following Monday Night Raw two more WWE Superstars know they have a chance of walking away with the coveted briefcase.
For the first time ever Money In The Bank will take place outside of the United States as it emanates from The O2 Arena in London, England on July 1st.
On the 2nd of June edition of SmackDown, Zelina Vega became the first female to qualify for the women’s Money In The Bank match when she defeated Lacey Evans. Monday Night Raw in Hartford, CT saw two more women join Vega in the line-up for that huge match.
Former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch battled her way into the match by defeating Sonya Deville. Lynch has just about done it all in WWE but she has never fought her way to the top of a ladder to win the Money In The Bank match.
Later in the evening, Natalya did battle with Raw newcomer Zoey Stark who was accompanied to the ring by her mentor and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. Stratus was instrumental in helping Stark overcome her veteran opponent to ensure she’s on the way to London.
The 9th of June edition of SmackDown will see both men’s and women’s Money In The Bank contests really take shape with four big qualifying matches scheduled for that show.
