Triple H and LA Knight’s backstage heat is allegedly a WWE storyline.
In the past few years, the WWE Universe has been highly supportive of Knight. However, he hasn’t gotten the much-deserved push. The fans have been vocal about this, criticizing WWE and Triple H for not putting him in the spotlight.
The Megastar recently appeared on the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast, where he made some controversial remarks, stating that he feels “underappreciated” in WWE.
LA Knight’s WWE Frustrations Might Be a Work, Says Dutch Mantell
Dutch Mantell recently commented on LA Knight’s controversial remarks on his Story Time with Dutch Mantell podcast. Mantell stated that LA Knight’s controversial remarks were all part of Triple H’s secret game plan.
He believes Triple H deliberately asked Knight to make such comments so the WWE Universe would have someone to hate, and that person is Triple H himself.
Mantell says WWE is doing this to draw more attention to Knight’s storyline. In this storyline, Knight is the babyface and Triple H is the heel, making it a classic babyface-versus-heel storyline for the fans to cheer on.
I think it’s a game plan. I think Triple H is saying, “Well, how can we turn this into our favor?” And I think that’s what they’re doing. So, now they have a villain. They have Triple H. ‘Oh, Triple H didn’t like me or this guy didn’t like me, or’.. But now at least they’re giving the fans a reason why this went on. Couldn’t possibly be because of the talent.
I don’t think you want any talent getting on anyone’s airtime, like Chris Van Vliet, and just saying what they want to say. You want to know what he’s going to say, and you want to work the game plan from there. I think this will yield something. I think they have prepared for it, and I think they got a game plan for it, and we’ll see where they go. (From 8:35)
