Kalisto Returns To In-Ring Action At WWE Live Event After Suffering Back Injury

TJR Wrestling

Former WWE United States Champion Kalisto returned to the ring at last night’s WWE Live Event in Sioux City, Iowa. He came to the aid of his former Lucha Dragons tag team partner, Sin Cara, after a loss to Braun Strowman. This is according to PWInsder.

Kalisto has been out of action and off WWE television for a couple months due to suffering a back injury. The last program it looked like Kalisto was going to be in was with Baron Corbin, but due to Kalisto’s injury, their feud never really got started.

Mark’s reaction: I would like it if WWE worked out a way where Sin Cara was traded to Smackdown or Kalisto was traded to Raw. If both of them are on Smackdown or Raw, then they can re-unite the Lucha Dragons. Since Smackdown seems leaner in terms of tag teams, they would be a better fit there. However, you can also have Kalisto be apart of the Cruiserweight division on Raw if he gets traded there. The point I’m trying to make is that Kalisto’s solo-career has not taken off the way WWE hoped it would have, so it’s time to change things up a bit. A reuniting of the Lucha Dragons or an addition into the Cruiserweight division could be just the change that Kalisto’s career needs right now.
