A new report provided an update on “growing” frustration in WWE under Triple H’s regime.

Triple H took over as the head of WWE creative in 2022 and made some notable changes to the product. The Cerebral Assassin was highly praised for making the mid-card titles feel more prestigious during his regime. However, many fans have complained about how The Game has handled the tag team division during his creative regime.

While the RAW tag team division was decent for the past few years, the SmackDown tag team division was highly competitive a while back. However, the title scene has been less competitive since R-Truth and Damian Priest won the titles.

According to a report by WRKD Wrestling, there is “growing” frustration backstage regarding the SmackDown tag title scene, citing a lack of variety and competitiveness. The report also said that the current champions, R-Truth and Damian Priest are loved backstage despite the frustration.

Triple H may get replaced in WWE by The Rock’s close ally

With Triple H facing a lot of backlash for his creative decisions in WWE, Jonathan Coachman recently claimed that Hunter could be replaced by The Rock’s close ally and writer, Brian Gewirtz, as the creative head.

Speaking on The Coach & Bro Show, Coach also said that The Rock and The Game allegedly don’t get along:

Him and Triple H simply do not get along. I think fans believe when they watch Unreal, and you hear Triple H go, ‘Well, I gotta make sure Rock signs off,’ you know, and then Rock be like ‘Yeah, Triple H is doing a great job,’ the cameras are on, and they know cameras are on.”

I think at its core, Rock would love for the end of his legacy to be Seven Bucks [productions] comes back, saves WWE and Brian Gewirtz eventually takes over for creative. That’s what we believe here.”

Former WWE star, D’LO Brown also weighed in on the backstage heat between The Rock and Triple H and said he could see Rock and Seven Bucks Productions trying to buy the WWE:

I could see Seven Bucks trying to buy WWE and Rock owning it all. Let’s go back to one more thing you said — H and Rocky don’t get along. They’re highly competitive — and that’s on camera. Now, Paul and Dwayne don’t like each other, and they are definitely oil and water. So, there’s the on-screen angst, and then there’s the real backstage angst. And it’s not my story to tell. Just know everybody doesn’t get along.”

Only time will tell if Triple H will ever be replaced as the creative head of WWE.
