Triple H could be replaced as the creative head of WWE by someone close to The Rock. The ally in question is Brian Gewirtz.

Triple H has been the WWE CCO and creative head of the WWE since he took over the role from Vince McMahon in 2022. While the first few years of his creative regime were universally praised, Triple H has faced a lot of backlash for his work over the past year. There have been rumors that The Game has alleged backstage heat with The Rock as well.

The Rock joined the TKO board of directors in 2024 and has made multiple appearances on TV, including a match at WrestleMania 40 as well. The Great One has been away from the WWE since his last appearance at the Elimination Chamber PLE last year. Meanwhile, a veteran believes that Paul Levesque could be replaced soon.

The Rock’s close aly could replace Triple H in WWE

Speaking on The Coach & Bro Show, former WWE personality, Jonathan Coachman claimed that The Rock and Triple H don’t get along, and Rock could bring his ally and writer, Brian Gewirtz to replace Paul Levesque in the creative role after his Seven Bucks Productions takes over:

Him and Triple H simply do not get along. I think fans believe when they watch Unreal, and you hear Triple H go, ‘Well, I gotta make sure Rock signs off,’ you know, and then Rock be like ‘Yeah, Triple H is doing a great job,’ the cameras are on, and they know cameras are on.”

I think at its core, Rock would love for the end of his legacy to be Seven Bucks [productions] comes back, saves WWE and Brian Gewirtz eventually takes over for creative. That’s what we believe here.”

Jonathan Coachman was joined by former WWE star D’LO Brown, who also believes The Rock and Seven Bucks Productions could own the WWE and reiterated that Rock and Triple H don’t get along behind the camera:

I could see Seven Bucks trying to buy WWE and Rock owning it all. Let’s go back to one more thing you said — H and Rocky don’t get along. They’re highly competitive — and that’s on camera. Now, Paul and Dwayne don’t like each other, and they are definitely oil and water. So, there’s the on-screen angst, and then there’s the real backstage angst. And it’s not my story to tell. Just know everybody doesn’t get along.”    [H/T Sportskeeda Wrestling]

Only time will tell when The Rock will be back in the WWE.
