While he has been absent from the WWE for quite a while, The Rock made a revelation that involves Seth Rollins.

The Rock has not been on WWE TV since his last appearance at the Elimination Chamber 2025 PLE. He was a regular on weekly TV during the build to WrestleMania 40 in 2024. The Final Boss was in a feud with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins back then. At Mania 40, Rock teamed with his cousin, Roman Reigns, to defeat the team of Rollins and Cody in a high-profile tag team main event.

Meanwhile, The Rock recalled being in the ring with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40. In his recent interview with Complex, The Final Boss was asked whose finishing move he would take on Te Ka in his upcoming movie, Moana.

The Great One mentioned Seth Rollins’ finisher, Stomp, and also recalled taking it while being in the ring with him at WrestleMania 40. Rock also deemed Seth’s finisher so iconic:

I would say Seth Rollins’ stomp. It’s my favorite. I took it at WrestleMania. I am a glutton for punishment, so I… there’s some finishing moves I loved taking. His is so iconic and I took that. It’s a wild… just a face stomp into the mat. It was cool,” said Rock. [H/T Sportskeeda Wrestling]

The Rock could be on the card for WrestleMania 43

On his 83 Weeks podcast recently, Eric Bischoff was asked what marquee matches WWE could book for WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia next year. Bischoff said Saudi fans want older names, which could mean The Rock and also John Cena in a non-wrestling role:

My exposure six, seven years ago was they want older names that are not easily available, which makes me think Rock because if that same kind of vintage hangover, we’ll call it legacy hangover, is still part of the audience composition in terms of what they want to see, then obviously bringing Rock back, John Cena in some kind of non-wrestling related role is probably going to check those, we’ll call them nostalgia boxes.”

Eric Bischoff also said he sees The Rock on the card for WrestleMania 43:

Those fans that are looking to the early 2000s or mid 2000s as the peak WWE period, you got Rock, you could bring John Cena in to participate. Couple other nice little moves and then balance the rest of the card out with younger talent. But I do see Rock on the card in Saudi for WrestleMania,” Eric said.

Only time will tell if The Rock will make his in-ring return at WrestleMania next year.
