Chad Gable Reacts To WWE Setback: “Hope This Isn’t The Final Chapter”

Following a heartbreaking setback on WWE RAW this week, Chad Gable reacted with an emotional message.

Chad Gable has been doing some amazing character work over the past year. He adapted the ‘El Grande Americano’ gimmick last year to insult the luchador culture for months. He got injured mid-way, and Ludwig Kaiser took his gimmick during that time. The feud between the OG Americano and the new Americano culminated in an incredible mask vs mask match on AAA, where Chad lost and unmasked himself.

Since giving up the El Grande Americano gimmick, Chad Gable has been undergoing character development, apologizing to the people he disrespected as a heel. This week on RAW, Gable issued a public apology to Otis, Akira Tozawa, and Maxxine Dupri for disrespecting them during their ‘Alpha Academy’ days.

While Otis was about to accept the apology, Maxxine Dupri stepped in and explained why they couldn’t accept Chad Gable’s apology. Gable was left heartbroken after the setback on RAW, as his apology was not accepted. Meanwhile, Gable reacted to the setback after this week’s RAW went off the air.

Taking to the X social media platform, Chad Gable shared a picture with Otis and penned down the following emotional message for his former partner:

We’ve written a hell of a book the past 20 years… I hope this isn’t the final chapter.”

WWE Hall of Famer feels it would be dumb not to capitalize on Chad Gable’s momentum

Speaking on his Phenomenally Retro podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer, AJ Styles admitted that WWE would be dumb if they don’t capitalize on Chad Gable’s momentum after his incredible mask vs mask match in AAA recently:

I think he’s a bigger superstar than he’s ever been at this very moment. If we don’t capitalize, and I say we because I’m part of WWE, we don’t capitalize on this, we’re dumb. We’re dummies.”

AJ Styles also said that Chad Gable could be a heavyweight champion, calling him a legit pro wrestler:

He can be heavyweight champion. He’s a legit freaking pro wrestler that there’s no way somebody in the crowd is going, ‘I think I can take freaking Chad Cable.’ Dude, legit, he will drop you on your head and there’s nothing you can do about it. He will scoop you up and drop you. This guy is legit. “

AJ Styles also praised Gable’s ability and look while talking about his collegiate wrestling background.
