A former WWE star, who had real-life heat with Triple H, advised an ex-champion to bury him to The Game to save his career.

Killer Kross (FKA Karrion Kross) had two stints in the Stamford-based company. Although he was released during the Vince McMahon era, the former NXT Champion was brought back to the promotion under Triple H’s leadership.

Nevertheless, Kross never received a significant push before he departed WWE again last year following the expiry of his contract.

During a recent episode of The Stevie Richards Show, the former Hardcore Champion opened up about his relationship with Kross, revealing that he encouraged the former NXT Champion to keep their connection under wraps during his time in WWE.

Richards added that he once advised the 40-year-old to bury him to Triple H in hopes of elevating his status backstage and potentially earning a push.

We do communicate. I didn’t say that during his time in WWE, but if he goes back, he hates me once again and he buries me every chance he can get. I’ve encouraged him to do that. He was asking me one time, ‘What’ missing?’ I go, ‘Just publicly bury me to Hunter and you should be in after that.’ But I don’t give myself that much credit. [1:55 onwards]

Stevie Richards Had Real-Life Heat With Triple H In WWE

Stevie Richards has been vocal about his issues with Triple H during his time in WWE, revealing that they never got along backstage. The former Hardcore Champion even accused The Game of burying him in production meetings behind his back.

During an episode of The Stevie Richards Show, the former superstar recalled how the company tried to force him to attend Triple H’s bachelor party.

I’ve been told like directly from the boys and other people that I’m lying that talent relations… They said, ‘There’s no way Talent Relations did this.’ I got a call from Talent Relations inviting me to Triple H’s bachelor party. And I said, ‘Well, I don’t really know the guy and we don’t really get along and I don’t think he wants me there.’ And they said, ‘No, you don’t understand. We’re calling on behalf of the company to tell you that this is mandatory that you attend his bachelor party.’

And I said, ‘I don’t think the guy’s that unpopular that the office has…’ I’m saying this to the people in Talent Relations, to the two women that were in charge of doing this. And I said, ‘I think he has a lot of friends or people that would go to this on their own accord.’ And I go, ‘You guys are forcing the talent to go to the bachelor party.’ And I said, ‘Well, unfortunately, I’m going to have a family emergency that day and I can’t go.’ I wasn’t gonna go, dude.
