John Cena Drops One Final Message Ahead Of WWE WrestleMania 42
John Cena will be the host of WrestleMania 42.
On March 30, WWE officially confirmed Cena’s presence at the Show of Shows on April 18 & 19 with a tweet on X.
In the video shared on its social media page, Cena can be seen talking about how his journey has been different since retiring from wrestling at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December last year.
The former World Champion has been filming a Netflix movie in Hollywood, further claiming that he was not far from Las Vegas, the location of WrestleMania. John Cena then reveals himself as the host of the two-night event.
In his last match on December 13, Cena tapped out to Gunther in the main event, much to the chagrin of the fans in Washington, D.C. and viewers worldwide.
The 17-time singles world champion has also been involved with the wrestling promotion in some capacity, something that he revealed during a recent public appearance.
I am working diligently to try to figure out my next path as a contributing, useful member of WWE I think I might crack the code, and I think we have something, and if the stars align and everybody signs off, I will be a whole lot more integrated in the system, and I’m very excited about the road ahead, and I’ll just cross my fingers that it works.

John Cena may not have had a pleasant experience with WrestleMania hosts in the past, but he is ready to step into their shoes this time around.
With only a few hours left for the 42nd edition of the event, the 48-year-old took to X to address wrestling fans worldwide, claiming it would be one of the most talked-about WrestleManias in history.
