In 2025, he worked his final matches. He finished stories with superstars such as Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, among others.

Never Seen 17 was in attendance at the WWE Hall of Fame 2026. The individuals from WWE who were inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2026 are Stephanie McMahon and AJ Styles.
In an interview at WWE Hall of Fame, The Champ revealed that his match against AJ Styles is the one that he holds close to his heart.
AJ is truly special to me. The only match I have watched back from the retirement tour is me and him in Australia, and I bawled my eyes out.

John Cena’s last WWE match was against Gunther. He has revealed that he will never wrestle again, but he is associated with WWE with an ambassador’s contract.
