Why Jacob Fatu Targeted John Cena’s Co-Star On WWE RAW

There was a reason behind Jacob Fatu destroying John Cena’s movie co-star on Raw this week.

The June 15 edition of Monday Night Raw kicked off with a Bloodline segment featuring Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Jacob Fatu in the ring. Roman Reigns started hyping up Jey Uso’s King of the Ring tournament run.

Jey then asked Fatu to acknowledge him and his twin brother, Jimmy Uso, but Fatu refused to do so and only acknowledged Reigns. Reigns then presented a new Ula Fala to Jacob Fatu, officially welcoming him into the Bloodline, and the Bloodline then started making their way backstage. However, that was not the end of their segment.

As Reigns and the company made their way backstage, they met actor and comedian Eric Andre, who was sitting at ringside. And in a surprising turn of events, Jacob Fatu grabbed the Hollywood actor and dragged him into the ring, setting him up for a Samoan splash. Security rushed in to stop Fatu, but Fatu was in full destruction mode.

Thankfully, Roman Reigns stepped in to stop Fatu, but suddenly changed his mind and gave him the green light to destroy Andre. Fatu hit Andre with a devastating splash and exited the ring, but Reigns ordered him to repeat the attack, which he did. Later, security and officials helped Andre backstage in the aftermath.

Reports claim that Jacob Fatu’s assault on Eric Andre was a well-planned segment with two major reasons behind it. The first was to bring attention to John Cena and Eric Andre’s new Netflix comedy, Little Brother, and the second reason was to get a lot of heat on Fatu.

The upcoming comedy film is scheduled to be released on June 26, 2026.
