The John Report: WWE Raw Deal 06/15/26 Review
It’s WWE Monday Night Raw, featuring Roman Reigns, plus Dominik Mysterio facing Oba Femi, Iyo Sky battling Raquel Rodriguez, and more.
The King and Queen of the Ring Semifinals begin on this week’s Raw, which will lead into Night of Champions on June 28th, when the Finals of those tournaments will take place. I think Raw has been very good in the last two weeks, thanks in part to the strong match quality, so I hope it continues.
This is the Raw Deal for episode #1725 of Monday Night Raw, taking place at the CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. Follow me on Twitter/X @johnreport. Let’s get to it.
A video package aired showing King of the Ring tournament highlights from SmackDown, with Jey Uso getting the big win in a 4-way to advance in the tournament.
They showed Roman Reigns and The Usos arriving at the arena, and Reigns was handed the World Heavyweight Title. Jacob Fatu was backstage to greet Reigns. They walked toward the ring for the show opening promo.
Let’s Hear from Roman Reigns and The Bloodline
Roman Reigns made his entrance, joined by The Usos and Jacob Fatu. There’s actor Eric Andre in the crowd. It took the Original Tribal Chief (Reigns) and crew a few minutes to get into the ring as usual. Reigns told Baltimore to acknowledge him, and that led to cheers as usual.
Reigns said that life is good and they had a lot to be grateful. Reigns mentioned the “Right Hand Man” Jey advanced to the next level and he’s going to win King of the Ring, so acknowledge him. That led to cheers and Yeeting. Reigns said that people will try to pick holes and piss him off. Reigns talked about how the Uso Twins are Day 1-ish. Reigns said if it wasn’t for Big Jim, there wouldn’t be a Right Hand Man. Reigns said if it wasn’t Big Jim, there would be no Tribal Chief and no Bloodline. Reigns told Baltimore to acknowledge Jimmy, so they cheered.
There were “Fatu” chants from the crowd. Jey said there’s one person here who hasn’t been acknowledged and needs to be addressed. Jey said one person in here needs to acknowledge them. The fans chanted “Fatu” again. Reigns said it sounds like they have a problem. Reigns spoke to Fatu about acknowledging the twins, so Fatu took the microphone away.
Fatu said that when it comes to Jey and Jimmy, he does not listen to them. Fatu told Reigns the only person that he acknowledges is his OTC, Roman Reigns. Fatu handed Reigns the microphone back.
Reigns said that’s good because they don’t need “Yes Men” around here. Reigns called on a ringside attendant, who had a wooden box for him. Reigns pulled out a necklace. Reigns said that everybody in the back is terrified because they think The Bloodline is going to run the business. Reigns said that they have always run the business. Reigns talked about the Wild Samoans, Yokozuna, Rikishi, Umaga, when The Usos became the best tag team ever, and when Reigns was born, that is The Bloodline. Reigns told Fatu that when their kids are tagging together in 20 years, that is The Bloodline. Reigns told Fatu he’s not on the outside like he thinks because he’s on the inside now. Reigns welcomed Jacob to The Bloodline and Reigns presented Fatu with a Ula Fala necklace. The Usos were talking behind Reigns and didn’t like Fatu getting a necklace, but The Usos fell in line and acknowledged Reigns as usual.
Analysis: It took a while to get through that, but it was a way for Roman Reigns to make Jacob Fatu happy by giving him the wooden Ula Fala necklace to show that Reigns believes in him and he wants Fatu to be loyal to him. I like how The Usos are conflicted about it because they don’t know if they can trust their cousin Jacob, but they have to do it because Reigns wants it this way.
After the promo, Roman Reigns shook hands with Eric Andre at ringside. Jey Uso didn’t shake hands with Eric and then Jimmy shook hands with Eric. Andre touched Fatu and even touched the Ula Fala, so Fatu pulled Andre over the barricade. Fatu put Andre in the ring. Fatu was hitting Andre with strikes. Fatu went to the top rope, but WWE Officials were there and Reigns had to go on the apron to tell Fatu to calm down. Reigns changed his mind and Fatu hit a Superfly Splash on Andre. Raw GM Adam Pearce was freaking out about it while Reigns was smiling. After Fatu left the ring, Reigns told Fatu to do it one more time. Fatu went up top and Fatu hit a Superfly Splash on Andre again. The fans cheered. Reigns said if you push them, then they are going to do that kind of thing to anybody who gets in their way.
Analysis: It was a vicious attack by Jacob Fatu on an actor like Eric Andre, who got to be part of the show in a unique way. This is a nice way of showing how unstable Fatu is and how Reigns can control him to do what he wants. It’s also about showing how dangerous The Bloodline is with Fatu as part of the group.
The commentary team is Joe Tessitore and Corey Graves. Joe is filling in for Michael Cole, who has the week off. Alicia Taylor is the ring announcer.
They went on a break for some fans as actor/comedian Eric Andre was getting checked on by WWE Officials. The WWE Medical team, who were indy guys, checked on Andre in the ring. That took about three minutes to help Andre to the back.
There was a replay of Jacob Fatu’s attack on Eric Andre. Graves said it was about Reigns establishing dominance and showing that The Bloodline is back and better than ever.
Queen of the Ring Tournament Semifinals: IYO SKY vs. Raquel Rodriguez
Iyo Sky was aggressive early on with strikes. Raquel caught Sky attempting a move, and then Raquel hit a cross body block to knock Sky down. Raquel sent Sky into the barricade. Back in the ring, Raquel countered a Sky move into a suplex. Sky sent Raquel out of the ring and Sky tried a suicide dive, but Raquel caught Sky and sent Sky into the ring post. They went on a break for some fans there and I’ll take a break too with Raquel in control.
Raquel was dominating the action for a few minutes until Sky countered Raquel and sat on top for two. Sky hit Raquel with a roundhouse kick. Sky connected with a double stomp to the ribs. Sky hit a Bullet Train double knee attack against the turnbuckle. Sky went up top and hit a missile dropkick. Raquel got a hold of Sky by the apron, but Sky kicked Raquel when she was on the apron. Sky tried a sunset flip on the floor, but Raquel stomped on Sky to stop that. Sky slammed Raquel’s head into the commentary table a few times. Sky tried a leaping attack, but Raquel tripped up Sky onto the table. Raquel went for a twisting elbow drop off the turnbuckle, but Sky got out of that. Sky sent Raquel into the ring post. Sky hit a Powerbomb out of the corner. Sky went up top and hit Over The Moonsault on Raquel for the pinfall win. It went about 12 minutes.
Winner by pinfall: Iyo Sky
Analysis: ***1/4 A competitive match that was pretty good the whole way. It followed a predictable story with Raquel dominating most of the match, but Sky found a way to make the comeback and get the clean win. I thought maybe somebody from The Judgment Day would help Raquel try to cheat to win, but there was no sign of Liv Morgan or Roxanne Perez at ringside. It didn’t reach the point where I’d call it a great match, but I still enjoyed it, and I’m glad that Sky won.
The win means that Iyo Sky has advanced to the Queen of the Ring Finals at Night of Champions on June 27th. Sky will face Liv Morgan or Charlotte Flair in the finals.
Analysis: I thought WWE might go with a Morgan-Rodriguez finals. I’d love to see Sky-Flair in the finals, but they might do Sky-Morgan, which would be a Sky win, and then that sets up Sky for a title shot against Morgan.
Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan were chatting backstage, so Perez said she’ll take care of Flair tonight. Morgan chatted with Danhausen (while wearing a Danhausen shirt) and wanted him to curse Dominik Mysterio’s opponent, Oba Femi. Danhausen said it would take a lot of human monies and kept on rambling, so Liv left.
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss were interviewed by Byron Saxton. This was during a break for some fans. Flair called themselves the Twisted Queens. Flair said there’s nothing The Judgment Day can do to her that she hasn’t seen before. Flair talked about how she had to come to Raw since she was called out online. Flair put over her buddy Bliss, and Bliss said that everybody bows down to the Queen. Flair said everybody bows down to Allies of Convenience. They did their heart hand gesture to end it.
A “New” Danhausen documentary aired about how Danhausen cursed Stephen A. Smith of ESPN, then he received human monies and Danhausen uncursed the Knicks. That led to The Knicks going on to win the NBA Title on Saturday.
There was a video package about the Seth Rollins-Bron Breakker rivalry. Rollins talked about six months of his career he’ll never get back, he was forced to give up the World Heavyweight Championship, and Bron cost him the King of the Ring. Rollins said that at Night of Champions, they need to settle this in a Steel Cage Match.
Analysis: It was obvious there would be another Rollins-Breakker match because of how they traded wins, so doing it in a Steel Cage Match makes sense.
Raw GM Adam Pearce was in his office talking to Lyra Valkyria, and Pearce said it’s going to happen. Lyra said she’s going to tell Bayley and left.
LA Knight approached Raw GM, Adam Pearce. Knight said everything happened the way he said it. Knight complained about Solo Sikoa getting involved to cost him the match and Jey Uso got the win in the King of the Ring tournament. Knight said the only way he can get things done is to do things his way.
They showed last week’s Raw when Chad Gable helped Rey Mysterio and Penta after Rusev and Ethan Page attacked them.
Chad Gable was interviewed by Jackie Redmond, who noted it was his first match as Chad Gable in over a year. Gable said that after losing the mask and gaining respect for the mask, he’s gone through a lot. Gable said that Rey made him realize that after he’s done with Rusev, he has other people to make amends to. Gable walked down a hallway where he saw Austin Theory talking to Maxxine Dupri, who used to be an ally of Gable.
Chad Gable made his entrance and it sounds like a new theme song for him as a babyface. Rusev made his entrance, joined by Ethan Page. That was during a break for some fans.
Rusev (w/Ethan Page) vs. Chad Gable
The babyface Gable took down Rusev with suplexes. Gable hit an arm drag, but Rusev came back with a kick to the ribs. Rusev sent Gable hard into the turnbuckle. Gable got a hold of Rusev and hit a belly-to-belly suplex. Gable hit a dragon screw leg whip, followed by an Ankle Lock attempt, but Rusev got out of that. They left the ring as Rusev sent Gable into the steel steps. Rusev suplexed Gable on the floor. Rusev sent Gable into the commentary table, but Gable came back with a belly-to-back suplex on the table, which didn’t break. Page distracted Gable, so Rusev knocked Gable off the apron into the commentary table. Rusev gave Gable a fallaway slam on the commentary table. They went on a break for some fans as Rusev remained in control. Rusev had Gable trapped in a headlock. Rusev sent Gable sternum-first into the turnbuckle and Rusev hit a headbutt. After Gable was sent out of the ring, Page punched Gable in the head.
There was an exchange of strikes as the fans cheered for Gable and booed Rusev. Gable hit two German Suplexes until Rusev hit an elbow to the head. Rusev went up top, but Gable was there to meet him with a punch and Gable hit a superplex off the middle turnbuckle. The fans were cheering Gable loudly as he applied an Ankle Lock, but Rusev got out of it quickly. Gable tripped up Rusev again and applied an Ankle Lock, Page tried to pull Rusev out, then Page went into the ring and Gable knocked him down. Rusev hit a Machka Kick for two. Rusev applied the Accolade submission, and Gable found a way to get out of it. Gable blocked a Rusev kick and then Gable applied an Angle Slam. Gable applied the Ankle Lock and Rusev tapped out to give Gable the win. It went about 10 minutes.
Winner by pinfall: Chad Gable
Analysis: ***1/4 It was a fun match with Rusev getting plenty of offense, but Chad Gable did an excellent job with the comeback and getting the predictable win. I’m happy for Gable and hope the strong crowd support for Gable continues. I’ve enjoyed Penta as Intercontinental Champion, but I think Gable should be the guy to take the IC Title from him.
After the match, Gable was attacked by Page and Rusev. Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee ran out to the ring for the save, so Page and Rusev retreated. Page actually got into the ring, which led to Penta and Rey kicking Page to clear him from the ring. Chad Gable was on his knees in the ring, and Rey & Dragon Lee extended their hands to bring Gable back to his feet.
Analysis: Respect to Gable to show he’s fully a babyface now.
Roman Reigns was talking to some dude about the food he wants later. The Usos approached Reigns to say that Jacob Fatu was supposed to listen to them when Reigns isn’t around. Reigns said that they can’t have in-fighting in the group. Reigns wondered about LA Knight talking trash about them and said he should send the Werewolf. Jey was going to deal with it, but then Jimmy said he could talk to Knight, and Jimmy left.
Oba Femi was shown preparing for his match later.
It was time for the weekly Danhausen segment, where he does his usual promo and shills merchandise. This was during a break. Danhausen also claimed he’s an NBA Champion. It took under three minutes for him to get through it. Love that Danhausen because if you don’t, then you are cursed.
Bron Breakker was featured in a video package talking about Seth Rollins and their rivalry. I missed most of it, but the point is that he was talking about facing Rollins in a Steel Cage match at Night of Champions.
A graphic was shown confirming Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker in a Steel Cage Match at Night of Champions.
Let’s Hear from LA Knight
LA Knight lay on the mat and said that this is how he ended his night on SmackDown last week. Knight talked about how he had to get to Baltimore. Knight spoke about how a friend told him to take the week off and don’t go to Raw, but Knight said he had to get to Baltimore. Knight said he stands in Baltimore, and he is home (he’s from that area). Knight said he’s always been fighting the odds, and he doesn’t know how to quit. Knight said he’s been fighting all kinds of groups. Knight said you’re looking at The Bloodline, and it’s tough for him to be angry because it happened just like he said. Knight said that Solo Sikoa hit him with the Spike, and Jey Uso got the win to move on in the King of the Ring tournament.
Jimmy Uso made his entrance to join LA Knight in the ring. Jimmy said he was there to talk to Knight. Jimmy said that the crap Knight went through a few years ago isn’t the same now. Jimmy said Solo isn’t with them. Knight said that Solo made sure that Jey advanced in the tournament. Knight wondered if he took out Solo, would The Bloodline let him do it, and Jimmy said that’s exactly what he’s saying. Jimmy tried to say more, but brother Jey Uso made his entrance.
Jey Uso got a big ovation with the crowd Yeeting a lot. Jey said what Jimmy is saying is right. Jey said they told Knight that Solo is on his own. Jey said he’s not here for that, or even an apology. Knight told him to stop.
Knight said that the one thing Jey wants is for Knight to acknowledge the Tribal Chief. Jey said that he’s better than Knight and put his ass out of King of the Ring. Jey wanted Knight to acknowledge him. Knight said it wasn’t fair and square because he remembered Solo being out there. Knight admitted it was a compelling offer. Knight acknowledged that Jey can kiss his ask, so Jey shoved Knight. Jey and Knight got into a fight. Jimmy tried to stop the fight, but he couldn’t do it, so Jimmy superkicked Knight. Jey Uso brought a chair into the ring. Knight got a hold of the chair, so he hit Jey and Jimmy with chair shots to the back. Knight went for another attack, but Jacob Fatu saved The Usos and applied a Tongan Death Grip to put Knight down. Fatu left with The Usos while Knight was down in the ring.
Analysis: It should lead to an LA Knight/Jey Uso match. The booking made it seem like The Usos were heels, but they are faces, and so is Knight, who did a great job of selling the attack. Jacob Fatu dominating Knight is another example of how strong the Bloodline team is as a group.
They showed LA Knight slowly leaving the ring after the attack. This was during a break.
A replay was shown of Jacob Fatu and The Usos getting involved with LA Knight.
The Usos were arguing about what happened. Jacob Fatu said they tried it Jimmy’s way and Jey’s way, but they couldn’t get the job done, so Fatu did it the OTC way. Fatu left.
An NXT Origins video aired about Alexa Bliss.
Charlotte Flair (w/Alexa Bliss) vs. Roxanne Perez (w/Liv Morgan)
Flair has the height advantage by several inches, and Flair used that height to block a knee, leading to a knee to the face. Flair chopped Perez a few times on the floor. Perez sent Flair’s hand into the ring post. Perez stomped on Flair’s hand on the ring apron. They went on a break with Perez in control, and I’ll take a break too.
The match continued with Flair hitting a running backpack slam to put Perez down after Perez was in control for a few minutes. Perez was applying an armbar, so Flair picked up Perez and hit a sitout Powerbomb for a two count. Perez flipped around Flair’s back and spiked her into the mat for a two count. Perez applied an armbar on the right arm, but Flair got out of that again. Perez chopped Flair repeatedly. Flair stood up against the turnbuckle and acted like it didn’t affect her. Flair kicked Perez to knock her down. Flair went up top, Liv shoved Bliss into the steel post, Flair jumped off the top and hit a fallaway slam. Flair hit lefty chops while selling the right arm injury. Flair hit the cartwheel clothesline and a boot to the face for two. Flair went up top, Morgan went on the apron and Perez pulled Flair off the turnbuckle. Perez hit a springboard moonsault onto Flair’s thighs for a two count. Flair kicked Perez to knock her down. Flair went for Figure 8, but Perez gouged the eyes and Bliss tripped up Morgan on the apron. Bliss turned Flair over on a pin attempt and the referee counted for two. Perez went for Pop Rox, but Flair blocked it. Flair applied the Figure 8 submission, so Perez tapped out. It went about 11 minutes.
Winner by submission: Charlotte Flair
Analysis: ***1/2 I liked that match quite a bit with Charlotte Flair selling the right-hand injury throughout the match, but she was able to overcome it and get the win. Perez is really good as a technical wrestler. They involved Bliss and Morgan in the match enough that they didn’t ruin it, but they did get involved instead of just standing out there doing nothing. I think Flair getting the win was the right move to continue her positive momentum in Queen of the Ring.
Je’Von Evans was shown walking backstage for a segment up next.
Ethan Page and Rusev did a promo from the entrance area. Rusev ranted about losing to Chad Gable. Page said his Balkan Brother was saying that Chad Gable got lucky tonight. Page said Gable was lucky that they left the ring. Page talked about how they have their eyes on Penta and the Intercontinental Championship. That was it.
A commercial aired about Fanatics Fest and CM Punk is a part of it on Sunday, July 19th.
Let’s Hear From Je’Von Evans
Je’Von Evans made his entrance, and he was cheered as usual. Evans faces Jey Uso in the King of the Ring Semifinals on SmackDown. Evans said he knows Jey Uso is watching, but this Friday, Evans will go belt to ass and yeet your ass out of the competition. Evans said that everybody is going to say that boy is bouncy.
Logan Paul made his entrance with a torn triceps, and he was with World Tag Team Champion Austin Theory.
Paul claimed he had life-changing news while the crowd was booing him. Paul said that Evans is a generational talent. Paul said that Evans has untapped potential. Paul said they’re the right people to be by Evans’ side. Paul said they were there to formally invite Evans to join The Vision.
Evans to Paul: “Hell naw.” Paul claimed it was not an invitation, it was a mandate. Evans warned Paul to back up before you leave Baltimore with no arms. Theory said they are not asking Evans anything, they are telling him. Evans took off his tracksuit pants and had his tights on. A referee went to the ring to call for the bell.
Analysis: That’s a very quick way to set up a match in a promo. I certainly didn’t expect to see Logan Paul on this episode of Raw, but there he was acting like a jerk.
Je’Von Evans vs. Austin Theory (w/Logan Paul)
The match started during the break for some fans. The crowd was swearing at Logan Paul. Theory hit a shoulder tackle, so Evans did a kip-up and Evans hit a dropkick. Evans hit Theory with some chops. Evans cleared the ring with a Young OG. Evans teased a dive, but Theory moved, so Theory went elsewhere on the floor. Evans took control in the ring with a standing moonsault. Evans jumped off the top, Theory moved and sent Evans into the turnbuckle. They went on a break for some fans with Theory in control. Evans hit a clothesline.
The Young OG was in full control with a springboard cross body block. Evans went op top, but Theory tripped him up. They battled on the floor a bit with Theory hitting a clothesline. Evans came back with a clothesline of his own. Evans ran around the ring and jumped over the barricade to tackle Theory on the floor. Back in the ring, Evans hit the Red Dot spinning kick to the head. Evans went for the OG Cutter off the top, but Bron Breakker was in and hit Evans with a Spear for the DQ. It went about 11 minutes.
Winner by disqualification: Je’Von Evans
Analysis: **3/4 It was an okay match with Austin Theory controlling a lot of it, and then the DQ finish cheapened it a bit. They had a solid match before that. I thought Evans would win decisively here. The Spear by Breakker was impressive and timed perfectly.
Post match, The Street Profits duo of Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins made their entrance. Ford and Dawkins battled Bron and Theory. Dawkins hit the Silencer on Theory. Ford and Dawkins worked together to beat up Evans with strikes and a double clothesline knocked Bron out of the ring.
Analysis: An easy way to set up The Vision against The Street Profits on Raw next week.
This Friday on SmackDown: Cody Rhodes defends the Undisputed WWE Title vs. Gunther. Sami Zayn is the guest referee.
Roman Reigns was shown in a backstage segment when Jacob Fatu approached Reigns. Reigns talked to Fatu about handling business. Fatu said that he got LA Knight, but The Usos weren’t too happy about it. Reigns said that they don’t understand him. Fatu said nobody has ever understood him. Reigns said he understands him, and as long as they are together, nothing can stop them. Reigns said he needed one more thing, and they shook hands. Reigns whispered something to Fatu that we couldn’t hear. That was it.
The Oba Femi-Dominik Mysterio match was next in the main event.
Jey Uso was interviewed by Byron Saxton during the break for some fans. Jey mentioned the family issues he was dealing with, but Jey said he’s used to that. Jey ranted about how he’s going to win King of the Ring, and that was the end of the show.
Next week on Raw in London, England, with a 2 p.m. ET start time:
* World Tag Team Championships:
* Women’s Tag Team Championships: Brie Bella & Paige vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria
Dominik Mysterio made his entrance as the AAA Mega Champion, joined by JD McDonagh. Dom was booed by the crowd as usual.
Oba Femi made his entrance as the fans chanted “Oba “ for him and they showed fans doing the Oba Femi strut.
King of the Ring Tournament Semifinals: Oba Femi vs. Dominik Mysterio (w/JD McDonagh)
Dirty Dom bailed to the floor after the bell rang. Dominik shoved Femi and ran around the ring, so Femi chased him. Dominik kicked Femi before he could go into the ring. Femi got a hold of Dominik and tossed him onto the commentary table. Femi sent Dominik back into the ring. JD was on the apron, so Femi punched him. The referee looked at JD, which led to JD doing a cheap shot to the ropes. Dom hit the 619 twice as the announcers mentioned Dom had the hammer in his hands. Dominik covered Femi, who kicked out at one with a power kickout. Femi was back up with a double Chokeslam on Dominik and JD at the same time. Femi ran repeatedly and hit multiple uppercuts on Dom and JD. Femi hit a jumping uppercut on JD. Femi tossed Dominik across the ring. Femi hit a Fall From Grace on Dominik for the pinfall win. It went about 5 minutes.
Winner by pinfall: Oba Femi
Analysis: **1/4 It was fun for the time given. I think the predictions for this one, for most people, were either that Femi wins clean (he did) or that Dominik wins because of Brock Lesnar. There was no sign of Brock, so having Femi win in the manner in which he did was perfect. That power kickout by Femi really got the crowd into it more.
The victory means Oba Femi is in the King of the Ring Finals where he will face Je’Von Evans or Jey Uso.
After the match, Oba Femi said that he is one match away and The Ruler will have his crown. Femi said that whoever it is between Jey Uso and Je’Von Evans, it doesn’t even matter, even Brock Lesnar. Femi said that he thought Lesnar would come for him tonight. Femi talked about how he’ll be the Ruler, the Beast Slayer, and the King of the Ring. Femi said Brock Lesnar will be remembered as the man who ran away from Oba Femi. The fans chanted “Oba” and did the Femi dance to cheers. Femi posed for the fans. End show.
Analysis: A confident promo from Oba Femi, who certainly could win the King of the Ring. I think Oba has to be the favorite over Je’Von or Jey, but it also depends on how many guys will be involved in the match. Tune in to find out.

Final Thoughts on WWE Raw
It wasn’t as good as the last two weeks of Raw episodes in front of hot crowds in Europe, but there was still plenty to like here. I enjoyed Oba Femi’s win in the main event, and I’m glad Iyo Sky won too. Chad Gable’s match was also fun to watch. The Charlotte Flair/Roxanne Perez match stood out to me, so I enjoyed that one as well.
There was plenty of Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, and The Bloodline throughout this episode. We know Reigns gave Fatu some orders to follow, but we don’t know them yet, so it will be interesting to see what happens there.
