Ex-WWE Star Says He Could Be Sued For One Reason: “Please Stop Asking This Request”
Ex-WWE star fears that he might get sued one day because of weird requests.
Carlito was let go from WWE last year while he was involved in a storyline with The Judgment Day. His contract expired in June 2025, and WWE decided not to renew it.
Carlito recently appeared on the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast, where he was asked about his signature apple gimmick. Chris questioned the ex-WWE star if fans ask him to sign apples when they meet him. Carlito replied in the affirmative, saying that fans sometimes bring both real and fake apples for him to sign.
“Yeah, all the time. I sign fake ones, but a lot of times they’ll bring me a real one. I don’t know why, they’ll be dead, you know, be rotten in a day. But they say they have all kind of plans. They’re gonna put them in a plastic bag or put them in the freezer. Whatever.”
Ex-WWE Star Carlito Details Weird Requests From Fans
When asked if fans make any other requests, like biting one side of the apple and signing the other, Carlito responded by saying that fans have made some very strange requests over the years, including asking him to spit in their faces, which he believes might get him sued one day.
“What I’m asked the most is to spit in their face. They go, ‘How much you charge to spit in my face?’ I’m like, why would anybody even want that, number one. Number two, I think that’s a lawsuit. I mean, they could come back and sue me. Please stop asking this request. I don’t do it.”
Carlito was also asked about his WWE release and whether it came as a surprise. He replied that he wasn’t surprised because his contract had expired.
Carlito also discussed his retirement plans with Chris on his podcast. Find out when he plans to hang up his wrestling boots.
