Ethan Page Demands His First WWE Title Match

Ethan Page has set his sights on the very top of NXT since landing in WWE and now he’s been confirmed for his first championship match in the company.

Ethan Page shocked everyone when he appeared on the 28th of May edition of NXT and attacked current NXT Champion Trick Williams. Page also revealed that he was the one who attacked Meta-Four’s Noam Dar and Oro Mensah in recent weeks.

Page had been part of the AEW and Ring of Honor roster in recent years following a successful stint in TNA but recently revealed he was heading towards his exit from Tony Khan’s promotions.

Ethan Page Makes Big NXT Demands

On the 4th of June edition of NXT, Page’s ego ran wild as he made extravagant demands of the brand’s General Manager Ava to officially sign with NXT. Page later revealed that one of those demands was an NXT Championship match against Trick Williams at Battleground.

Williams urged Ava to make the match official and sign Page up which is what she did, making the match official for the show on June 9th.
