Drew McIntyre Mocks CM Punk Injury With New Workout Video
Drew McIntyre has taken another shot at CM Punk following the injury that will keep Punk out of WrestleMania.
CM Punk tore his triceps in the men’s Royal Rumble but battled on to the bitter end only to be eliminated last by Cody Rhodes. CM Punk has confirmed WrestleMania is not on the cards for him much to the delight of Drew McIntyre.
McIntyre interrupted an emotional Punk as he told WWE fans of his plight with the Scottish star eventually attacking Punk and stamping on his injured arm.
Drew McIntyre Takes Another Shot At CM Punk
Taking to social media, McIntyre poured salt in the wound as he shared a video of him in the gym having a “killer arm workout” as he told the camera it was “time to tear up those triceps.”
Dave Meltzer expressed surprise at WWE shooting the angle between CM Punk and McIntyre as McIntyre’s WWE future remains very uncertain. Drew McIntyre’s WWE contract is believed to end immediately after WrestleMania 40 meaning unless things change in that regard, a future match between McIntyre and Punk won’t be taking place.
