Cody Rhodes Merchandise Continues To Be Hot Seller

A new report has discussed just how often Cody Rhodes’ merchandise makes it to the top of the best sellers list.

After his dramatic return to WWE at WrestleMania 38 and then his re-emergence following injury at the 2023 Royal Rumble, ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes was always going to prove a popular figure with the WWE Universe. This would only increase going in to his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, meaning fans had plenty of chance to support the star by wearing his merchandise.

Whilst many were surprised that Rhodes didn’t complete the story and reach the top of the mountain at ‘The Showcase Of The Immortals’, there can be no doubt that throughout that period he was one of the top merchandise sellers in WWE, and continues to do so.

A new report from Fightful Select has noted that Cody Rhodes still regularly tops the weekly best sellers listing when it comes to WWE merchandise. A notable exception to this was one week in March, where John Cena topped the list following his return to the company on Monday Night Raw.

It was also recently reported that a new faction in WWE was doing particularly well when it came to the sale of t-shirts. However, it remains to be seen whether these shirts can reach the heights of some of the most iconic in wrestling history from the Attitude Era – something Steve Austin recently discussed regarding his 3:16 shirts.
