CM Punk’s Heartfelt Message To Female WWE Star Revealed: “He Said Some Really Cool Stuff”
A top female star received some kind words from CM Punk before a major match last month. The female star in discussion is Nikki Bella.
Ever since his WWE return in 2023, CM Punk has shared a great equation with almost everyone in the locker room. Punk often visits NXT to give youngsters some valuable knowledge and advice as well. The Second City Saint also had some wise words for the former Divas Champion, Nikki Bella during WrestleMania 42.
While CM Punk was scheduled for the Night 2 main event of WrestleMania 42 against Roman Reigns, Nikki Bella was set to team with Brie Bella for the Women’s tag title four-way encounter at the event. However, Nikki had to be replaced in the match by a returning Paige due to her knee injury.
CM Punk spoke highly of Nikki Bella during WrestleMania 42
Speaking on the Battleground Podcast recently, Brie Bella recalled how her sister and partner, Nikki Bella got injured before their WrestleMania 42 match, and they wanted Paige as a replacement:
It’s hard because they’re all so different, and just being part of a big one this past WrestleMania, with Nikki breaking her ankle two weeks before, us kind of being like, ‘What are we going to do? There were a lot of things that were going on. I was like ‘Should I just sit out with Nikki until she gets better and come back with her?’ We both were like ‘Would Paige do it? Can Paige do it?’ Two weeks sounds like a lot of time, but it’s really not a lot.”
Brie Bella also disclosed that she and Nikki Bella met CM Punk backstage before their match at Mania, and Punk praised Nikki for giving her spot to Paige, as she was injured:
“I feel like being in that moment just recently at WrestleMania 42… It was really cool because right before we walked out, CM Punk was standing there, our music was literally about to hit. He said some really cool stuff to Nikki. “What you’re doing is incredible, it’s hard to be where you’re at, and you’re just like ‘come take my spot.” Having that, and then our music is hitting and we’re hugging him, and then just knowing Paige is about to come out and everyone’s going to be surprised, it gives me goosebumps,” Brie reveaked.
