CM Punk Now Being Advertised For AEW All In

CM Punk is now a part of the advertising for the AEW All In event taking place at Wembley Stadium.

When All Elite Wrestling put tickets on sale for AEW All In in early May, CM Punk’s name and image were nowhere to be found in the advertising for the show. That’s because Punk was still away from the company and he wasn’t mentioned again until it was shortly before his June 17th return on the debut episode of AEW Collision.

The AEW All In event will take place on Sunday, August 27th at Wembley Stadium in London, England for the company’s debut in England and their first show outside of North America as well.

Considering that CM Punk is a former two-time AEW World Champion that is also one of the top draws in the company, it puzzled some fans as to why Punk wasn’t a part of the promotion for All In.

That has changed recently as Wrestletalk shared an image of an All In advertising that features CM Punk on it in the Metro paper. As you can see in the image below, Punk is featured along with AEW Tag Team Champions FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler), Britain’s own PAC, the TBS Champion Kris Statlander and ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe.

CM Punk’s last match in AEW took place at the AEW-NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view this past Sunday when he beat Satoshi Kojima in the first round of the Owen Hart Cup Tournament.

The Saturday, July 1st episode of AEW Collision was taped on Thursday night. CM Punk appeared on the show, but in a match. Spoilers are here in case you want to know what happened.
