CM Punk Makes Major Appearance, But Not In WWE
The former World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk made a public appearance amid his absence from WWE TV for weeks.
After an amazing run as the World Heavyweight Champion for months, CM Punk defended his title in the night 2 main event of WrestleMania 42 against Roman Reigns. The terrific back-and-forth encounter concluded with Roman getting the win over Punk and securing the World Heavyweight title.
Following his setback at WrestleMania 42, CM Punk appeared on RAW the night after and shared a segment with the WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes. However, the Second City Saint has been absent from TV since then, and fans have been anticipating his return for the past few weeks. Meanwhile, Punk made a public appearance amid his absence.

CM Punk doesn’t care about his TV absence, according to an ex-WWE personality
During their conversation on The Coach & Bro Show recently, Vince Russo and the ex-WWE personality, Jonathan Coachman were discussing CM Punk’s absence from TV for weeks. Russo expressed his displeasure with Punk being absent despite being a huge babyface. Coach replied with a claim that Punk doesn’t care if he is not on TV as long as he is getting paid:
Here’s the crazy part, Vince. I don’t think he cares. Because remember the interview he did a few months back. Remember that? When he said, ‘I don’t care if I’m on the first, last, I get paid the same. There’s no more bonuses. There’s no more pay-per-view money. There’s none of that. I get paid a salary, every two weeks that check comes, every week that check comes.’”
Jonathan Coachman also believes that the Second City Saint has no problem with not being used on WWE TV because of his age:
So he’s probably like, ‘I’m 46 years old. They don’t want to use me? No problem.’ I’ll be honest with you. That’s how I would be. You’re going to pay me that much money to not work, stay home with my wife. Oh, hell yeah. I’ll do that all day.”
Fans will have to wait and see when the former World Heavyweight Champion will finally be back on WWE TV.
