CM Punk Mocks Drew McIntyre After Major Announcement

CM Punk took a shot at his main WWE rival Drew McIntyre after the company made a big announcement.

Since CM Punk returned to WWE at Survivor Series last November, he has had to deal with Drew McIntyre making it clear that he is not happy that Punk is back in WWE.

The only time that Punk and McIntyre were in the same match together so far in 2024 was the Royal Rumble when McIntyre hit Punk with a Future Shock DDT and Punk tore his right triceps while taking the move. The injury was not McIntyre’s fault, but it has put Punk on the shelf for anywhere from six to eight months.

Despite Punk’s inability to wrestle since late January, the two men have had physical altercations and have exchanged words many times. They have also used social media very well to further the rivalry as well.

During the WWE King And Queen of the Ring PLE broadcast, WWE’s CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque announced that McIntyre was cleared to compete after dealing with an elbow injury. Since McIntyre was cleared, Triple H announced that McIntyre will challenge the World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest at the WWE Clash at the Castle PLE on June 15th, which just so happens to take place in Glasgow, Scotland, which is Drew’s home country.

CM Punk Edits Drew McIntyre Out Of The Clash At The Castle Graphic

Drew McIntyre is also on the Clash at the Castle poster. On Instagram, CM Punk decided to post an edited image on his IG story and as you can see below, it’s an image of actor Steven Seagal replacing McIntyre on the graphic.

In another recent IG story post, CM Punk also taunted McIntyre by posting an image of St George’s Tron Church of Scotland. Whether that means Punk will be at Clash at the Castle is unknown right now, but certainly Punk is doing his best to play mind games with his main WWE rival.
