BREAKING: Kofi Kingston And Xavier Woods Gone From WWE
In a huge update that will send shockwaves across the pro wrestling world, The New Day members, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, are reportedly no longer a part of WWE.
Woods and Kingston, along with Big E, stood firm as the backbone of the sports entertainment juggernaut’s tag team division from the mid-2010s. While Big E’s in-ring career ended after a serious neck injury in 2022, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods continued their run as The New Day.
The faction has won 13 tag team titles together in WWE, with all three stars having individual accolades to their name as well. In fact, Big E and Kofi Kingston even reigned supreme as WWE Champions. Xavier Woods also has had some singles glory, winning the King of the Ring in 2021.
Earlier today, fans on social media noticed that Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston were shockingly moved to the alumni section on the official WWE website. Not long after, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful and Cory Hays of Bodyslam confirmed that both Kingston and Woods have agreed to mutually part ways with the Stamford-based promotion.
