Booker T Tips Jade Cargill To Become One Of The Best Ever

Jade Cargill flexing with the TBS Championship.

WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T has claimed that Jade Cargill has the potential to become one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.

Jade Cargill is the inaugural and yet undefeated TBS Champion in AEW, and has not looked at the lights in defeat since making her debut for the company on 3rd March 2021.

At Double Or Nothing 2022, Cargill once again successfully defended the title against Anna Jay, albeit with a little extra help from ‘Smart’ Mark Sterling, the debuting Stokely Hathaway and the rest of her Baddies.

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, former World Champion Booker T gave praise to Cargill for the fact that the improvements since her debut make it clear that she’s coachable, and that if she can get to grips with the psychology of wrestling then her potential is huge.

If I’m trying to build a major superstar for this company, and someone like Jade Cargill, you got to that the right way.

You want to get that done right the first time. She’s a work in progress, but I can tell you this. From her first match to where she is now, it’s night and day. It really is. So that tells me she’s coachable.

From a psychology standpoint, if she can figure that out, which is not something that’s really easy to do at all where she can actually go out and know how to feel in that match as opposed to just going through the motions because she knows what she has in her head, she can become literally one of the best that we’ve ever seen in the business, because she’s already got one half already out of the way. She looks better than everybody. So if she could get the other side right, she could go down as truly one of the best.

After her contest at Double Or Nothing, Cargill was confronted by the debuting Athena. On the 1st June 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite, the former Ember Moon cut her first promo in the company and claimed she will be the one to dethrone Cargill as TBS Champion.
