DarkState Lay Out Former WWE Champion In Shocking NXT Attack

For the last two weeks on WWE NXT, DarkState have been wreaking havoc on the brand as they’re taking out anyone that comes in their way. This path of destruction started a couple of weeks back after they failed to regain the NXT Tag Team Championships.

They lost the titles earlier in the year to The Vanity Project and faced them in the main event two weeks back. Dion Lennox and Saquan Shugars took them on, but were unsuccessful in doing so, and that switched something up in the group.

They reacted immediately as Osiris Griffin, Cutler James, and Dion Lennox attacked Shugars and kicked him out of the group, blaming the group’s shortcomings on him.

DarkState takes out another WWE NXT star tonight

The following week, they took out the NXT North American Champion, Myles Borne, and Tavion Heights in a backstage attack. The two men were talking among themselves before DarkState took them out unprovoked.

A match was set up between the two teams for tonight, but before the match began, Shugars took Cutler James out with a baseball bat to try and even the odds. This attack made the group livid, and they took another victim tonight on WWE NXT.

Griffin barged into Robert Stone’s office looking for Shugars, but was instead interrupted by Jasper Troy. He rubbed Griffin the wrong way, and along with Lennox, they wreaked havoc in the office and left Troy knocked out on the floor after a brutal attack.
