Major WWE Champion Taken Out In Brutal Backstage Assault On NXT
WWE NXT is going through a new era on the black and silver promotion with all four major champions on the brand, all holding their respective belts for the first time in their career.
The Men’s and Women’s NXT Championships are being held by Tony D’Angelo and Lola Vice, whereas both versions of the North American Championships are held by Myles Borne and Tatum Paxley.
All of them have a major target painted on their back as the entire WWE NXT locker room is looking to get their hands on their championships. One such star suffered a brutal attack and ended up being on the wrong side for a second straight week.
The NXT North American Champion, Myles Borne, has been on a roll since defeating Ethan Page for the title. He teamed up with Tony last week in a tag team match against Mason Rook and Kam Hendrix, but was the one to eat the pin.
Myles Borne seemingly has a new challenger on WWE NXT
Borne and D’Angelo lost the match after Tavion Heights inadvertently cost them the match. Borne’s former No Quarter Catch Crew member apologized to him backstage tonight, but their chat was interrupted midway.
The duo was taken out by DarkState in a brutal attack shortly after they put the entire locker room on notice. After taking out Saquon Shugars last week, they took out the North American Champion tonight.
They chucked Heights behind a table before focusing their assault on Myles Borne. They shoved him into the garage door before smashing him into the wall, following which Dion Lennox hinted at going after the WWE NXT North American Title.
