BREAKING: MJF Forces AEW Star To Pass Out On Dynamite
The landscape in AEW changed following last month’s Double or Nothing as the AEW World Championship changed hands once again. Darby Allin headed into the show as the World Champion after he defeated MJF for the title.
The two men wrestled in a ‘Title vs Hair’ match at Double or Nothing, and Maxwell Jacob Friedman managed to keep hold of his precious hair as he defeated Allin to become a three-time AEW World Champion.
After regaining his Triple B, MJF was scheduled to defend the belt against Rush tonight on Dynamite, and they kick-started the show with a bang as both of them were involved in a major backstage brawl.
The match began immediately following the brawl, and the champion, after getting a few strikes in, was being dominated by his challenger. Rush took off the protective padding from a turnbuckle as he tried to take things further.
However, it backfired for Rush as just when he was about to smash MJF’s head against it, the referee stopped him, and MJF smashed his head into the steel as the referee turned his back to them. This attack caused Rush’s forehead to be busted open on the forehead.

The two men then got into a major fist fight, which ended with Rush hitting a massive piledriver on the ring apron that had MJF knocked out. The challenger had dislocated his shoulder during the match, and he used the ring post to pop it back in place.
The medical staff came in to check on both competitors and said that the match won’t continue as neither man is fit to do so. However, Rush headbutted the doctor and continued with the match.
He came extremely close to winning the match as he hit a massive low dropkick into the turnbuckle, but MJF caught hold of the ropes just before the referee hit the third count. He went for another dropkick on the champion, this time on the barricade.

However, Maxwell moved out just in time, and Rush went through the barricade. MJF then picked him up and hit a piledriver onto the broken piece of the barricade, before taking Rush back into the ring.
The match ultimately came to an end after Rush went up the top rope for an attack, but MJF moved out and caught him with The Salt of the Earth lock, forcing Rush to pass out.
The champion looked to hit Rush with the World Title, but was stopped by Mark Briscoe. He was about to hit him with the Jay Driller, but MJF hit him with a blow before retreating as the rest of the Conglomeration came out to his rescue.
