“They’re The Filthiest Words Ever” – AJ Lee Reveals Shocking WWE Story
AJ Lee revealed a shocking incident that happened over ten years ago.
AJ Lee is one of the most beloved WWE stars of all time. During the course of her career, AJ has been a part of many wonderful storylines. One of her most memorable storylines was when she turned on John Cena. In 2012, AJ Lee played the role of John Cena’s love interest on screen. However, little did Cena know that this would come back to haunt him.
At WWE TLC 2012, Dolph Ziggler put his Money in the Bank briefcase on the line against John Cena. During the match, Vickie Guerrero attacked John Cena. Hence, AJ Lee came down to the ring and attacked Vickie. When Cena was climbing the ladder to grab the briefcase, AJ turned on the former by pushing the ladder. This allowed Dolph Ziggler to win the match.
A young fan cussed out AJ Lee for turning on John Cena
During a recent interview with The Match-Up, AJ Lee recalled her heel turn at TLC 2012. She noted that when she was walking to the back, a young fan cussed her out for turning on John Cena. He used the most filthiest language that the former Divas Champion refused to repeat. Surprisingly, the little boy’s father seemed proud of his son’s behavior.
“Oh, my God. I mean, I probably lost count of how many times that happened. But my favorite, I can’t use the words because they’re the filthiest words ever. But my favorite instance was I did like it’s called like a heel turn when you go from like a baby face to a bad guy, and my first time ever doing that was against.. I turned on John Cena, like pushed him off a ladder, and I will never forget like going down the entrance ramp and this dad and a little boy were like, ‘yay,’ they were so happy to see me, and then I turned on John Cena and I was coming to the back and this little boy like said the most foul curse word at me, and then his dad was like, ‘yeah, that’s right!’ Like his dad was so proud of him, and I was like, a reaction? (thumbs up) Like it was the funniest thing. But stuff like that, especially when I was just turning into a bad guy against Cena, I would have so many angry reactions.” [H/T Fightful]
AJ Lee last competed in a WWE ring at WrestleMania 42, where she lost the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Becky Lynch.
