Big E Says WWE Star Has “All The Tools” To Be World Champion
Big E knows what it takes to reach the top of WWE and he has given some heavy praise to a current star that has a big championship opportunity coming up.
During his WWE career, Big E has done a lot including his time as part of the legendary New Day group with many title reigns, he’s a Money in the Bank winner, he’s held the Intercontinental Title and also been the WWE Champion.
Since suffering an awful broken neck injury in March 2022, Big E has been on the shelf and unable to wrestle, but he will get his neck checked out again in March with hopes of a possible return to the ring.
Montez Ford of The Street Profits is a rising star in WWE. While Ford is a former Tag Team Champion with Angelo Dawkins, he also has done very well in singles action with many people believing that Ford could be a huge singles star some day if he ever gets the opportunity to show what he can do.
This past Monday on the February 6th edition of Raw, Ford defeated Elias in a singles match to qualify for the US Title Elimination Chamber match that will take place on February 18th at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. Ford is in the Chamber match with US Champion Austin Theory, Seth “Freakin” Rollins, Bronson Reed, Damian Priest and Johnny Gargano.
While appearing on WWE’s The Bump on YouTube, Big E spoke about Ford’s big win while adding that he is excited to see what Ford can do.
“It’s hard not to be a Montez guy. You talk about someone who has all the tools, charismatic as hell, absurdly athletic. He has everything, so it’s about time for Montez to get his. I’m excited to see his rise and see his run. Talk about a star. Guy has screamed ‘star’ for a long time, so it’s time to get Montez cooking.”
