But one thing he has thought about is that he won’t be wrestling in his 50s. He plans to retire before he is 50.

Damian Priest, who is 43, stated that he has begun to notice signs of aging as he is slowing down in the ring. Still, he is a long way from wrapping up his in-ring wrestling career.

“I don’t have a number. I don’t have a time, but I know that I’m going to listen to my body. I’ve already — I can tell, you know, it’s just natural that you’re going to start slowing down. I don’t know how much time I have left, but I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. But at the same time, into my 50s, definitely not. Before 50, I would be done.”

Damian Priest’s wrestling journey began around two decades ago when he made his professional wrestling debut in 2005 on the independent scene.

After working in the indies for a decade, he started appearing in dark matches for Ring of Honor. In 2016, he signed with the company as a full-time wrestler. He left Ring of Honor in September 2018 after his contract expired, and in October of the same year, he signed with WWE, where he has been ever since.

Damian Priest is currently the WWE Tag Team Champion in his third reign. He recently started making appearances for WWE’s sister promotion, AAA, making his Lucha Libre debut on the July 4 episode of AAA on Fox.
