Bianca Belair Wants WrestleMania Moment With Rival

Bianca Belair says she can create an “iconic” moment with a rival at WrestleMania 40.

On February 24th, Bianca Belair will be part of the Women’s Elimination Chamber match in Perth, Australia. There, she will battle five other stars to determine who will challenge the Women’s World Champion at WrestleMania.

Just who that champion will be is currently up in the air, as the event will also see Rhea Ripley defend the title in her home country when she takes on Nia Jax.

During an interview with Love Wrestling, Belair said that if she wins the Chamber match, she’s happy to face either one of the stars. However, she believes she can create a true WrestleMania moment if she can drop Jax with the KOD.

“Either one. I’ve actually never been able to wrestle Nia Jax in a one-on-one match. I would love to KOD Nia Jax. How iconic would that be? WrestleMania moment. Especially at WrestleMania, that would be great.”

Despite this, The EST would also be more than willing to face Ripley, saying it’s a dream match for her and noting that with both of them gracing the cover of WWE 2K24, it could be the ideal time.

“Ripley is a dream match of mine, I feel like we’ve both been at like the opposite sides of the mountaintop climbing it. We’re both on the cover of 2k this year, so it just makes sense.”

The pair have not faced each other in a singles match since 2020 when they were both in NXT. On that occasion, Ripley came out on top, successfully defending the NXT Women’s Title against Belair.

Bianca Belair’s husband, Montez Ford, recently spoke of his ambitions to fight in UFC. While he says it’s something he trained for in the past and even looked into taking part in a fight, the idea was “shut down quickly” by Belair.
