AEW Dynamite Hijacked By A Massive Brawl; Adam Copeland And More Involved
A huge episode of AEW Dynamite was scheduled for tonight as a special three-hour episode aired live from the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, South Carolina.
The first match of the night saw AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley survive a huge scare against Juice Robinson in their Continental Championship Eliminator match.
It was followed by a major double jeopardy champion vs champion match between one-third of the AEW World Trios Champions, Orange Cassidy, and one-half of the World Tag Team Champions, Dax Harwood.
However, the two men didn’t come out to the ring alone and brought sufficient backup along. If Cassidy won, he’d earn a shot at the Tag Team Championships for the Conglomeration, and if Dax won, FTR and Tommaso Ciampa would earn a shot at the Trios Title.
Orange Cassidy picks up a huge win on AEW Dynamite
Dax was accompanied by Ciampa, the rest of FTR, The Dogs, and RPG Vice, whereas Cassidy had the rest of the Conglomeration, The Young Bucks, and Adam Copeland and Christian Cage on his side.
After a lengthy back-and-forth between them, which saw multiple close calls, the match was won by Cassidy before a huge brawl broke out between the two groups. They began brawling in the ring before RPG Vice was left alone as others on their side retreated.
Rocky Romero and Trent Baretta were surrounded by everyone else. Kyle O’Riley took out Romero with a flurry of kicks, while Baretta was superkicked by The Young Bucks. Adam Copeland then speared Romero before Cage hit him between the legs as they stood tall in the ring.
