Yet another AEW star has been struck down by injury.

Between the mixed response to the main event at Dynasty online and injuries to several stars, it’s been a rough week for AEW.

During the April 2 edition of Dynamite, it was announced that Jay White had been removed from the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, and it was subsequently revealed he’d suffered a hand injury.

This was followed by the news that Mark Davis and Orange Cassidy were also injured, joining Brian Cage on the sidelines.

Another AEW Star Injured On Dynamite

On the April 9 episode of Dynamite, Swerve Strickland looked to rebound from his loss to Jon Moxley at Dynasty against his Death Riders teammate and World Trios Champion PAC.

During the match, Strickland launched his rival into the corner with a Buckle Bomb, and PAC immediately favoured his ankle and lower right leg. Although the match briefly continued, the British star struggled badly before rolling out of the ring where he was checked by Doc Sampson.

Concern was raised as while PAC was being checked, the camera focused closely on Strickland. After the check, the match was quickly brought to a close following a Superkick and Swerve Stomp.

PAC was also missing from the show-closing angle as the Death Riders fought with The Opps after being helped backstage.

According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider after the show, the injury to PAC is legitimate but there are no other details available at this time.
