Triple H’s recent booking decision was criticized by a former WWE employee.

Triple H has come under a lot of scrutiny over the past few months for many of his booking decisions. Many fans have criticized the WWE product for being too boring. There was even some speculation that WWE was using AI to write some of the storylines. This week on WWE RAW, Triple H came under scrutiny again.

This week on the red brand, the first round matches of the King and Queen of the Ring tournament kicked off. The winner of each tournament would receive a World Title shot at SummerSlam. However, something strange about the Queen of the Ring tournament quickly became evident. Liv Morgan, who is the current Women’s World Champion, was also added to the tournament along with Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez. This made no sense since Liv was already a World Champion and didn’t need to be in this tournament.

Tommy Carlucci questioned Triple H for adding Liv Morgan to the Queen of the Ring tournament

Speaking on the latest edition of Behind The Turnbuckle Studios’ The Last Word, Tommy Carlucci said that it made no sense to add Liv Morgan to the Queen of the Ring tournament when several other women on the roster could’ve benefited from the opportunity. He also said that he wants to see Chelsea Green win Queen of the Ring this year.

“It makes no sense. No sense to put your champ in a Queen of the Ring when that person who wins Queen of the Ring gets to have a title shot against the champ. And who’s the champ? Liv Morgan. Put Maxxine Dupri. She was complaining tonight. Throw her in. Can we at least give Chelsea Green a chance because I wanna see her win? Originally, I thought Lash was gonna win today. I thought she was gonna go all the way and then have a title match at SummerSlam. I thought they were building her that way. I guess not because… And I don’t mind IYO winning either, but it makes zero sense, creative guys. Whoever’s doing this writing, why? My question would be to Triple H. Why would you put the champ who the winner of the Queen of the Ring faces the champ, why would you put the champ in Queen of the Ring? Can you answer me that? And you have a million other women not in it. Is Bailey in it? I don’t think she’s in it. Yeah she is. That’s right. Okay. We can face each other. I wanna see Chelsea win.”

It remains to be seen if Liv Morgan will win Queen of the Ring this year.
