Finn Balor Breaks Silence After Moving From WWE RAW To SmackDown
Finn Balor’s fate was revealed on the latest episode of WWE Raw.
During one of the commercial breaks, JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio of The Judgment Day were interviewed by Byron Saxton, who revealed Balor’s brand trade before asking them their opinions.
Balor had been a part of the faction since June 2022, which was before Mysterio and McDonagh joined.
As a member of the group, he won the tag titles six times, twice with McDonagh and four times with Damian Priest on both the Raw and SmackDown brands.
His final days in the faction saw his personality shift, as he became more compassionate and respectful toward his opponents, something he was admonished for by his stablemates.
On the March 2 episode of Raw, Finn Balor refused to help Dominik in his Intercontinental Championship match against Penta, which ended in the latter losing the gold.
He was called out by “Dirty Dom” on the following taping of the red brand, ending in a brawl between them. This is where his protege, JD McDonagh, also turned on him.
The segment ended in a severe beatdown for the Irish superstar. In the subsequent weeks, Balor managed to exact revenge by beating both McDonagh (on Raw) and Dominik Mysterio (at WrestleMania 42) under Street Fight rules.

Balor’s mention of names like Tama Tonga, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley evoked strong fan interest in the comment section.
Finn’s association with Tama Tonga dates back to their New Japan Pro-Wrestling days, when they represented the Bullet Club, which was formed by Balor.
Likewise, he was Judgment Day stablemates with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley before they were kicked out of the group after the 2024 SummerSlam pay-per-view. Ripley, too, commented on the post in the form of a gif, which read “I remember everything.” It will be an interesting interaction whenever the trio shares screen space together.
