Former 2-Time WWE Champion Re-Signs With TNA
He’s “here to show the world” that he has re-signed with Total Nonstop Action.
Former WWE Champion Nic Nemeth, fka Dolph Ziggler, has decided to extend his stay at TNA. The company’s X account shared a video of his contract signing with TNA President Carlos Silva, Tommy Dreamer, and Ryan Nemeth, also featured in it.
He debuted for the promotion in 2024, turning up at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view, where he confronted the then-TNA World Champion Moose.
At Slammiversary that same year, he won the major championship for the first time by emerging victorious in a 6-way elimination match. He held the title for 183 days before losing to Joe Hendry the following year at Genesis.
Since then, the ex-WWE star has competed in the indies, too, winning a couple of titles across other promotions. In 2025, he won the TNA World Tag Team Championship with his brother, Ryan Nemeth.

Nic Nemeth Competed In WWE Recently
In early 2025, WWE signed a multi-year partnership with TNA, allowing both companies to swap talents to fit any storyline.
Nic Nemeth became part of one such transaction during John Cena’s ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament.
During the November 17 episode of Raw, he was revived as Dolph Ziggler and revealed as the surprise first-round opponent of Solo Sikoa.
While he expectedly put on a good performance, the result did not land in his favor, advancing Sikoa to the next round.
Elsewhere, TNA is all set to make its AMC debut tonight. AJ Styles, who is a former X-Division Champion, has been advertised for the show.
