A familiar face has joined TNA Wrestling as Dolph Ziggler made his presence felt at Hard To Kill.

At TNA Hard to Kill in Las Vegas, the company formerly known as IMPACT Wrestling went back to its roots by officially becoming TNA (Total Nonstop Action) again. Going into the show, TNA President Scott D’Amore had teased a major signing, which led to lot of speculation that it was an ex-WWE star.

In the main event of the show, Moose defeated Alex Shelley to become the new TNA World Champion. For the big man Moose, it’s his second time as the TNA World Champion.

After the match, a song played in the arena and the name Nic Nemeth appeared on the video screen. It was the former WWE superstar Dolph Ziggler. Nic Nemeth appeared in the ring behind Moose as the fans chanted “holy s**t” at the sight of Nemeth in a TNA ring. Moose tried to strike, Nemeth avoided it and Nemeth hit a superkick. Nemeth hit the move that he used to call the Zig Zag. on Moose.

Nemeth left the ring, went into the crowd and removed the Motley Crue shirt he was wearing. Nemeth revealed that he was wearing a TNA shirt to show that he had joined the company. Announcer Tom Hanifan shouted: “Nic Nemeth is in TNA.” The fans chanted “TNA” as well as the show went off the air.

During his WWE career that lasted nearly 20 years, the 43-year-old Nic Nemeth was a two-time World Heavyweight Champion, who also won the Intercontinental, United States and Tag Team Titles. In addition to that, Nemeth (as Dolph Ziggler) has been known as one of the best pro wrestlers for the last two decades.

Who Will Nic Nemeth Face In His First TNA Match?

Minutes after Hard to Kill signed off, TNA announced that Nemeth’s first match in the company will take place at the TNA Snake Eyes tapings taking place on Sunday, January 14th. Nemeth will face Zachary Wentz, who also is a former WWE star since he used the name Nash Carter in NXT. The match will air at a later date on TNA Impact television.

TNA has also already produced a Nic Nemeth t-shirt to promote his arrival in the company. It is not known yet what kind of deal Nemeth has with TNA, but we will report on it whenever any details become available.
