WWE’s Chelsea Green Set To Star In “Red Wedding”
The WWE female star, Chelsea Green is slated to feature in the upcoming “Red Wedding” movie.
Chelsea Green is one of the most popular female stars in the WWE right now. She previously had a run with the company from 2018 to 2020. Chelsea later joined TNA for a brief run before eventually returning to the Stamford-based promotion in 2023. In her second run, Green has won over fans with her funny, entertaining character. She has also been a former women’s tag team and United States Champion during her current tenure.
Chelsea Green was also out of action for over three months due to injury until her return last month. She participated in the ongoing Queen of the Ring tournament, but lost in the first round. Nevertheless, Green is slated to make her horror movie debut with the upcoming movie ‘Red Wedding.’
Reacting to an X social media post relating to the ‘Red Wedding’ movie, Chelsea Green confirmed that she would be starring in the movie with the following statement:

Chelsea has appeared in movies like ‘Parallel Minds’ and ‘A Bluegrass Christmas’ in the past as well.
Chelsea Green on not being the chosen one in the WWE
During an interview with Denise Salcedo earlier this year, Chelsea Green said that while there are a lot of chosen ones, she didn’t get everything handed to her:
There’s a lot of chosen ones in wrestling, you see that happen, the machine has scooped you up and thrust you to the top, it’s amazing and some unbelievable stars come from it. But for me, my story is so different and relatable and I didn’t get everything handed to me, I was told no so many times.”
Chelsea also claimed that she found her niche despite being told that there was nothing unique about her:
There were a lot of people that told me there was nothing unique about me, and I figured out my niche and I think that’s really special and that’s what fans kind of attach to, like she is one of us.”
When I go home, and I take my make-up off and I blend in at publics when I’m shopping for my groceries, I am just a normal girl. There isn’t necessarily anything special about me, but that’s what makes me special, is the relatability I think.”
It remains to be seen what’s next for Chelsea Green after getting eliminated from the Queen of the Ring tournament.
