WWE Women’s Speed Championship No. 1 Contender Match Announced For Next Week
WWE NXT was scheduled for multiple exciting matches tonight, and the show kicked off on a high note as Myles Borne defended his NXT North American Championship against Ethan Page.
Born successfully defended his title tonight as the show shifted focus towards other championship gold. The Women’s Speed tournament kicked off last week to determine Fallon Henley’s next challenger.
Thea Hail beat Blake Monroe to advance to the final round last week, and she was joined by another wrestler tonight as the number one contender’s match was finalized tonight.
Wren Sinclair earned a major win on WWE NXT
Wren Sinclair faced Nikkita Lyons in the Speed tournament tonight, and both women were involved in an incredibly high-paced and fast-moving fight. With less than 30 seconds remaining, nothing seemed to separate the two.
Just when it seemed like the time was going to be up before a winner was decided, Sinclair pulled off the win with just four seconds remaining. In a last-ditch attempt, she locked in a cattle mutilation hold on Lyons and emerged victorious, setting up a number one contender’s match with Thea Hail next week.
