Thea Hail Pulls Off Massive Upset On WWE NXT After Surprise Assist

An action-packed episode of WWE NXT featured multiple high-profile matches, with various title matches scheduled for the following night. In addition to the title matches, the episode also set the field for the WWE Women’s Speed Championship.

The Men’s Speed Championship changed hands on the show tonight as new NXT superstar, Elio LeFleur, defeated Jasper Troy and Eli Knight to win the title in a first-ever triple threat match for the belt.

The women’s Speed tournament began tonight to determine Fallon Henley’s challenger. The first match of the tournament saw Thea Hail take on Blake Monroe in the first round.

Thea Hail picks up a major win on WWE NXT

Many expected this to be an easy win for Blake Monroe, given her past with Thea Hail, but it wasn’t to be. Hail pulled off a major upset as she defeated Monroe to advance to the next round.

She sent her out of the ring in the opening stages of the match, and while the referee was tending to Hail, Jaida Parker appeared out of nowhere and attacked Monroe with a running knee and sent her back in the ring.

Hail took advantage of the situation and hit Blake with her finisher to earn the win and advance to the next round, where she will face the winner of the match between Nikkita Lyons and Wrenn Sinclair.
