WWE May Plant Seeds For Huge Tag Team Split At Royal Rumble
This major WWE tag team could be in the limelight in the Royal Rumble match
This year’s Royal Rumble has a stacked card of wrestlers in the men’s and women’s divisions. WWE CCO Triple H recently said it’s going to be “epic” in an appearance on ESPN’s Get Up.
The Women’s Royal Rumble match will see many tag teams split up, and each team member will be entering the massive bout as individuals. Some notable names include Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, Judgement Day’s Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez, and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Rhiyo (Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY).
It would be interesting to see how the women go about eliminating other wrestlers, especially if it comes to one teammate being forced to eliminate the other, since it’s an “every woman for herself” scenario.
WWE Social Media Analyst Sam Roberts Believes There Could Be Tension Created Between Rhiyo at the Royal Rumble
In a recent Notsam Wrestling episode, Sam Roberts predicted that Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY could both get eliminated from the Women’s Royal Rumble match due to miscommunication. This would help in creating some tension in the tag team, which is currently held together by a tight friendship.
I don’t know if you go full Hogan SId Justice, but I think you could start at least kinda sowing some seeds of discontent in there.
I don’t know if Rhea or Iyo would eliminate each other, but maybe there’s a miscommunication that ends up in both of them getting eliminated.
I think the team is too good, and I kinda think the team stays together through WrestleMania
If it were upto me, at this point I’d go Rhiyo vs Charlotte(Flair) and Alexa(Bliss) and really build it up as a massive match. Four big stars.
But I think that both of them getting eliminated due to a miscommunication could be good.
The Royal Rumble takes place on January 31st in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
