Triple H Promises “A Lot Of Surprises” For 2026 WWE Royal Rumble
The WWE CCO has promised a massive Royal Rumble event this year.
WWE’s legendary PLE The Royal Rumble will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on January 31st, 2026, for the first time in the company’s history. Riyadh will also host WrestleMania 43 next year.
Despite many fans and critics feeling that WWE has not properly built up the Rumble this year, WWE CCO Triple H is calling it one of the most star-studded Royal Rumble cards in recent years, claiming that it’s going to be “epic”.
Appearing on ESPN’s Get Up, Triple H explains why the Royal Rumble is exciting with new entrants every couple of minutes. He reveals that there are many surprises in store, but the match card that’s already confirmed is also stacked as it is, said the Chief Content Officer.
The Royal Rumble is one of those events that’s amazing to see because every couple of minutes there is a new entrant that enters into the fray.
So as this match goes on, over the hour that it takes or so, you’re getting constantly surprised by who is next and the strategy of what happens when that person comes out.
This year’s going to be no different, there’s a lot of surprises in store but also it’s one of the most star-studded Rumbles that I can recall.
You’ve got Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Jey Uso, Bron Breakker, Logan Paul’s going to be in there.
On the women’s side, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, they’re just stacked cards, this one is gonna be epic.
On the latest episode of NXT, it was hinted that some of the stars from its women’s roster could be entering the Rumble match.
Triple H Talks About AJ Styles Vs Gunther Match
The Game is next asked by the host to talk about Gunther’s match against AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble, where AJ will be putting his career on the line after agreeing to Gunther’s stipulation a couple of weeks ago on Raw.
Triple H gave the example of Gunther retiring John Cena by making him give up despite the latter’s literal mantra being “never give up”.
He said, “The stakes couldn’t be higher” with AJ’s massive career on the line, and a loss would mean that it’s all over for Styles.
