WWE Star To Shawn Michaels: “Give Me A Chance Or Cut Me”

A current WWE star disclosed how he outright told Shawn Michaels to give him a chance or cut him from the roster. The star in question is Keanu Carver.

Since he joined the WWE in 2023, Keanu Carver has been performing on the developmental shows NXT, Lvl Up, Evolve, and LFG. He is known for being a physical specimen and is also outspoken when he has the microphone.

Meanwhile, Keanu Carver apparently risked his job by calling out the head of the NXT creative department and the WWE Hall of Famer, Shawn Michaels.

WWE star wants a chance from Shawn Michaels or is ready to be cut

During an interview that aired during the most recent episode of NXT, the WWE star, Keanu Carver was interviewed by Emily Agard. Emily revealed that it was her first day at the job, and Keanu would be her first interview. Carver blasted his employers for putting people in situations they don’t want to be in:

See, this is exactly what they do. They put you in situations you don’t want to be in, and they have you talk about stuff you don’t want to talk about. Like, who the hell is that, and why are you here? I don’t know you. I don’t know him. Like, what are y’all doing here? How many times I got to tell y’all, bro? I’m not talking in front of no cameras.”

Keanu Carver further disclosed that he told Shawn Michaels to his face that either he gives him a chance or he cuts him from the roster:

You know what I told Shawn Michaels? I told him to his face, give me a chance or cut me, I’m out. Yeah, I said that, straight up. Well- Cuz I told, look, if wrestling don’t work, I gotta find something that will. If this not feeding my family, I gotta find something that will work out.”

Carver concluded that he is not here to follow the rules:

You know something about me? I’ve been the same guy my whole life. Whether I was in the barbershop, the sub shop, or on the football field, cracking it in the streets, it didn’t matter. I’m the same person I’ve always been, and that’s who I’m always gonna be. I’m not here to follow rules, I don’t care about authority, and I’m not gonna listen to rules. I’m telling you straight up who I am. If y’all don’t wanna accept it, Y’all can go ahead, and I’ll go my way. I really don’t care.”

Only time will tell what’s next for Keanu Carver after calling out Shawn Michaels.
