WWE Star Gives Blunt Reason For Betrayal
Wes Lee’s reason for turning on The Rascalz is short and to the point.
At NXT Great American Bash, Wes Lee shockingly turned on Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz. The TNA pair have been allies of Lee for weeks now, with Wentz having previously teamed with the star when he was known as Nash Carter in WWE.
The MSK duo reunited at the Great American Bash special in an attempt to capture the NXT Tag Titles from Axiom and Nathan Frazer. After the pair were unsuccessful in their quest for gold, The Rascalz all hugged in the ring. The moment of unity was short, though, as Lee delivered a Superkick to Miguel and a low blow to Wentz while accusing him of having abandoned him.
After the show, NXT GM Ava took to social media to question why Lee did it, and the star responded with a gif that simply said, “Because I felt like it.”

The Judgment Day Betray Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley At WWE SummerSlam
Lee wasn’t the only star to turn on his teammates this week, as The Judgment Day betrayed Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam, with Finn Balor costing Priest the World Heavyweight Title, while Dominik Mysterio sided with Liv Morgan against RIpley.
On the July 5th edition of Raw, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest joined forces to take on their former teammates. Ripley came to Priest’s aid when he was the victim of a vicious assault from The Judgment Day, with the pair clearing the ring to send a message to their old allies.
