Huge WWE Star Expected Fans To Boo Them Upon Surprise WrestleMania Return

A reputable talent expected the worst upon their return to WWE at WrestleMania 41.

On Night 2, Lyra Valkyria and Bayley were scheduled to face Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. But on Night 1, Bayley was taken out backstage, rendering her unable to compete.

As a result, Becky Lynch, who had been on a hiatus since May 2024, was named as her surprise partner.

The Irish duo managed to beat Morgan and Rodriguez to become the new tag team champions.

The first episode of WWE: Unreal Season 2 explores backstage interactions featuring Lynch. ‘The Man’ expected the fans in the Allegiant Stadium to boo her.

The reaction was quite the opposite, as the audience cheered watching the former Women’s Champion in all her glory. Becky even spoke on the docuseries about a woman being in tears.

It was an incredible ovation. You know, sometimes when you’re out of it, you kind of forget the magic of it. When you’re in it, it’s like you’ve been sprinkled with pixie dust or something, Lynch admitted.

Becky Lynch Turned Heel On The Following WWE Raw Episode

While Becky Lynch’s WWE return at WrestleMania 41 was unexpectedly boisterous for her, the following night she shocked everyone by turning heel.

Lynch and Lyra Valkyria were scheduled to defend their newly won titles in a return match against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

Like WrestleMania, the bout on the red brand was highly entertaining, but ended in a loss for the Irish women after Morgan hit the Oblivion on Lyra.

After the match, the compatriots hugged, but Lynch laid Valkyria out with a clothesline.

Had Lynch expected fans to boo her on Raw, she would have gotten that reception because they did not take kindly to the veteran’s sneaky attack on a rising star.
