WWE Star Mocks CM Punk By Posting AEW Video

A WWE rival decided to mock CM Punk on social media by posting a clip from when Punk was in All Elite Wrestling.

CM Punk returned to WWE at the Survivor Series in November because AEW fired Punk in September after spending two tumultuous years in All Elite Wrestling.

Punk was fired by AEW due to a backstage fight with “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry while also doing something that made AEW’s CEO Tony Khan go on national television to say that Punk made Khan fear for his life.

Since coming back to World Wrestling Entertainment, CM Punk has made it clear that he is happy to be “home” in WWE even though he ripped the company a lot over the last decade while he was going. That was something that Seth Rollins brought up on Raw when he confronted Punk in the ring on December 11th.

As for when CM Punk will wrestle in WWE again, it was announced recently that Punk will be in action against The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio on December 26th at Madison Square Garden in New York City and December 30th in Los Angeles (Inglewood), California at the KIA Forum.

Dominik Mysterio Shares Unflattering Clip About CM Punk

While Punk was doing commentary for the CFFC MMA promotion, Punk had a line about wanting to punch Dominik since he was eight years old.

That led to this reaction from “Dirty” Dominik, who shared a GIF clip on Twitter/X showing Punk slipping when he was going for a springboard clothesline during an AEW match.

The GIF is from a June 1, 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite when Punk teamed with FTR’s Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler against Max Caster & The Gunn Club (Austin & Colten Gun). That was also the night when Punk did a stage dive into the crowd and injured his foot leading to an injury that cost him nearly three months of action.

As of this writing, WWE has yet to announce a CM Punk match on television. However, Punk has declared that he will be in the 2024 Royal Rumble on January 27th.
