Independent wrestler Nikki Blackheart recently said goodbye to her promotion.

It was recently announced that she had signed with WWE, having been offered a contract after participating in the February tryouts.

On Saturday, Blackheart competed at the CCW Vice City Slam 4 event, putting her CCW Women’s Championship on the line against Kristin Blaze.

Owing to her move to the Stamford promotion, the 29-year-old dropped her title to Blaze. Afterward, she spoke to the audience, thanking them for their support, while also expressing gratitude toward her coaches and CCW itself.

….how much gratitude I feel. How loved I feel, how appreciated I feel. How celebrated I feel. You ain’t losing me by the way, hell no. I just want to say thank you to all of you, all the fans, the supporters, my coach, my team, my family, my loved ones. I would be nothing without each and every single one of you…I just wanna say, I love you all. Thank you all, Blackheart forever.

Blackheart is expected to report to the WWE Performance Center soon.

Nikki Blackheart Names WWE’s Rhea Ripley As Her Dream Opponent

Nikki BlackHeart is still in the formative years of her wrestling career, having started to perform professionally in 2023.

During a recent interview with Heavyweight Commentary, she was asked about who her dream opponent is, and she named WWE’s Rhea Ripley.

My goodness, because the match that did it for me, where I was like, I’m going to become a wrestler, it was Rhea Ripley versus Charlotte Flair. But dream opponent, definitely Rhea. That’s since I started.

I mean, as I’ve been learning more and watching more and being exposed to it, there’s other people that I would love to work. But as far as the first person that I said it would be an honor to learn from and be in the ring with, I would say Rhea. [H/T: Fightful]
