WWE SmackDown: The Irresisitible Forces Wreck WrestleMania Rivals After Major Tag Bout

WWE Women’s Tag Team Division is more stacked currently than it has ever been in the promotion, with multiple top stars competing to grab the Women’s Tag Team Championships.

The newly-crowned tag team champions, The Irresistible Forces, have defended their title quite often recently, but their most recent matches ended in chaos as other teams made their presence known.

Following weeks of confrontations and brawls, a huge fatal-four-way match for the belts was confirmed for WWE WrestleMania 42, and two teams from the match faced each other tonight.

Nia Jax and Lash Legend will defend the belts against The Bella Twins, Lyra Valkyria, and Bayley, and the team of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, and the teams of Flair/Bliss and Lyra/Bayley took each other on tonight.

Champions stand tall on WWE SmackDown

Charlotte and Alexa dominated in the early goings of the match as they had separated Lyra from her tag team partner. However, once Bayley came into the match, she shifted the momentum towards her team.

Bayley took the fight to Flair but ultimately came up short. Alexa took out Bayley as she tried to help Lyra, following which Flair and Bliss hit a double Natural Selection on their opponent for the win.

However, just as they won the match, the duo were attacked by The Irresistible Forces. The current champions jumped both teams from behind and took out all four of their opponents to stand tall in the ring.
