WWE Smackdown Preview For February 3rd
A closer look at what WWE has planned for Smackdown including a big tag team match and The Bloodline fallout from the Royal Rumble.
The ending of the WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event last Saturday night got a lot of people talking in terms of the most compelling storyline in WWE right now involving The Bloodline. After Roman Reigns beat Kevin Owens to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, he ordered The Usos and Solo Sikoa to assault Owens, which they did.
However, Sami Zayn wanted no part in the attack on his best friend Owens. Zayn took a steel chair and hit the “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns in the back with it, which has likely put an end to Sami’s run in The Bloodline group. Even though Sami was loyal to the group, Roman was mean and that’s why fans at the Royal Rumble were chanting “f**k you Roman” at him for continuing the assault against Kevin Owens, who was handcuffed to the ropes.
After Zayn hit Reigns with the chair, Jimmy Uso superkicked Zayn, which led to Jimmy, Solo and Roman beating up Zayn. However, Jey Uso walked away to a standing ovation from the crowd because he refused to beat up his friend Sami.
All of this leads into Smackdown with WWE promoting that Roman Reigns will be there.

There are also three matches with high stakes on the line.
* Charlotte Flair defends the Smackdown Women’s Title against Sonya Deville. Flair could also have to deal with Rhea Ripley, who will face Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Title at WrestleMania 39 assuming that Flair is still the champion by then.
* Braun Strowman & Ricochet will team up against Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci in the finals of a tournament to earn a Smackdown Tag Team Title match against The Usos.
* A women’s Fatal 4-Way Match will take place between Shayna Baszler, Shotzi, Zelina Vega and Natalya for a spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match at the Elimination Chamber PLE.

Tonight’s episode of WWE Friday Night Smackdown takes place at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. The WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event will be in Montreal (the hometown of Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens) in just 15 days on Saturday, February 18th.
